The primary objective of the study is to present the nature of energy security issue specific to the selected country and main impacts of energy insecurity at different levels; analyse the responses of the main stakeholders to mitigate the impacts; and analyse the particular role that energy efficiency could play to mitigate energy insecurity and assess the impacts of current energy efficiency measures on energy security.

Specific objectives:

At national level:
1) Analyse the threats (present and future) to energy security, measures (past, existing, potential) to improve the energy security and their impacts
2) Analyse the impacts of energy efficiency measures/strategies on energy security

At the household level:
1) Analyse the threats (present and future) to energy security, measures (past, existing, potential) to improve the energy security and their impacts
2) Analyse the impacts of energy efficiency measures/strategies on energy security
