Responding to the ongoing discourse on liquid biofuel sustainability issues, GNESD member Centres of Excellence, operating in Argentina, Brazil, Kenya, Senegal and Thailand investigated various aspects of the topic. The study provided specific case examples and approaches that address some of the major environmental issues on biofuel sustainability. The aim of which is to facilitate South-South experience sharing and learning on biofuel sustainability. The GNESD biofuel sustainability publication was coordinated by the Secretariat.
